Today, I was working on new projects worshipping the Lord. The Holy Spirit fell upon me strong I began declaring some things!
Then I was reminded…
Psalm 23:4 NLT
[4] Even when I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid, for you are close beside me. Your rod and your staff protect and comfort me.
What ever valley your walking in low or high we don’t have to be afraid! David said, God you are beside me. Your presence in near me or in me! He acknowledged He was right there. That is the best place to be! Walking close!
Here’s the part that may be hard for some when we’re walking in the valley sometimes the purpose is for correction.
Yes, sometimes we can be doing or acting in ways not pleasing to God! Remember this, boasting in weaknesses is good! Because David said, your rod and staff comfort me.
Rods in the Bible were for measuring, guiding, correcting a child, weaponry, use of power! Let me just say, walking in valleys are not picnics in the park, these are times of struggle, loss, new directions, hurt, and pain. We can be encouraged the best part of being in a valley is we will be comforted.
I am grateful that comfort is coming from the Holy one and I’m excited and expecting what is to come because coming out of a valley is a new day and an even better view coming from the one many can come out of and that is darkness.
Come on out and up! Today, is a new day!
